​Rekunbox (Rekun) is a captioner and moderator based in Illinois. Rekun is learning ASL and Japanese and hopes to become certified to be an interpreter.

 

She got into VR in early 2020 and joined Metacosm Studios in June 2021 as a body actor and Japanese translator for “Into the Metaverse;” and now helps with community moderation as well.

 

​Rekun has many roles within the studio but her chief responsibilities are  leading the Localization Team and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes. Her other responsibilities include captioning, proofreading, and providing raw caption files of our projects for her team to translate. She also is in charge of designing our website.

 

Her favorite pastimes are playing video games, watching anime, camping, and hiking.
